Cody was born and raised in Webster City, Iowa. From a young age, Cody was fascinated with television and video work imagining and dreaming that one day he would be able to work on a show for a big network.
He decided to join the TV and Radio Production program here at Iowa Central because of the love he had for the radio news portion of speech in high school, and because he can have his own radio show at the station here on campus.
He was very active at FDSH in which he ran track and field all four years and was part of the Teens Against Human Trafficking Club and the Performer Club his senior year. He was also able to make it to state speech and drama twice his senior year.
He graduated from Sidney High School in 2015. He is a master chef of ramen noodles. His aspirations are to become a director for sports broadcasting through ESPN, as well as having the technical skill to repair equipment on site.
He lived near a small town called Joice, which is located north of Clear Lake, Iowa, in 2005. He lived on a small farm with his parents and his younger brother. In 2015, he graduated from Lake Mills High School at the age of 18.
